Exploring Organizational Change and Employee Acceptance in a Local County Government

چکیده
The conflict over whether or not performance appraisal and merit pay systems are effective continues to be a challenging topic for employers and employees in both privateand public-sector organizations. Public-sector organizations are under increasing political pressure to do more with less, much like their private-sector counterparts. Public-sector organizations are also under pressure to get more out of their employees than in the past. One way to do this is via a well-managed human resource system that includes effective performance appraisal and merit pay technologies.
